Hey there, I‘m Mallory.
I’m a UX and Accessibility Design Leader with 12+ years of experience creating inclusive, emotionally attuned digital products. I specialize in leading teams, building scalable systems, and translating human complexity into practical, accessible design.
My practice is rooted in systems thinking and trauma-informed design, and shaped by my experience as a grief educator and human support work. These lenses sharpen my ability to lead through ambiguity, build inclusive systems, and support people in vulnerable moments.
I believe great design doesn’t just solve problem — it supports people. Especially when life is messy, uncertain, or in transition.
What Drives Me
Drawing from my grief education training, I bring a deep understanding of how humans navigate change, uncertainty, and emotional overwhelm. This perspective helps me create intuitive, accessible experiences that offer clarity in complex systems for both the people using them and the teams building them.
As a neurodivergent designer, I recognize patterns others may miss, approach challenges with creativit y, and build systems that evolve with people instead of forcing people to adapt to rigid systems.
By blending accessibility, systems thinking, and a deep respect for human resilience, I’ve led initiatives that transformed how teams and organizations design for change.
Core Beliefs
-
Every experience I design begins with deep listening and an understanding of real human needs. Empathy is what drives connection and ensures solutions resonate with those they’re intended to serve.
-
Everyone deserves sovereignty over their own lives, choices, and experiences. I design with this principle in mind; supporting personal agency, honoring dignity, and fostering trust through thoughtful, empowering solutions.
-
I view change as a generative force—an opening for creativity, clarity, and growth. By staying grounded in values, I help individuals and teams move through uncertainty and create meaningful transformation.
-
Great design doesn’t exist in isolation—it’s part of an interconnected system. Inspired by nature’s regenerative cycles, I build sustainable, adaptable solutions that honor complexity and support long-term balance.
